Training with Heart

We wanted to share a special behind-the-scenes moment from the Caldwell Police Mounted Unit.

With patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement, our officers worked with the horses to help them overcome their fear of stepping into water. This type of training is a perfect example of the trust and bond that forms between horse and handler—built through respect, compassion, and consistent care.
